1. UPCOMING SEMINARS
The Fading Art of Traditional Adjusting:
A Hands-On Symposium
22 March – Orange County CA
Dr Tim Young — Dr Tim O’Shea
Dr Young and I are finally getting the hang of it. Below you can see some comments from the last events. The general consensus seems to be More Hands On.
Even though this is probably the most hands-on seminar anywhere in the world, the appetite for it seems to be insatiable – people do want to learn how to adjust! Even in 2014. Imagine that.
Traditional osseous adjusting is becoming rarer each year, for many reasons. If the student is not exposed to the essentials of adjusting before graduation, there may be limited opportunities in the years afterward to see exactly how it’s done, up close and personal, by an experienced proficient. Many simply give up.
Any art worth mastering requires suffering through our mistakes, and never giving up. This course will accelerate that learning curve exponentially. This is the fast track for those who know they can do it better, whether you just graduated or have practiced for 20 years. Success in this profession requires mastery of a specialized skill, unique to the chiropractic profession – our legacy for the past 100 years.
Attendees will get a password to the ongoing archive of these taped seminars, as a resource they can always refer to.
“Learned so much more than I have in any technique class. Am going to attend the next one!” -TB
“It was good to see how to actually adjust and get hands on. We don’t get enough of this at school.”
“…both DCs were exceptional in explaining and demonstrating the adjustment. Their passion was very infectious and we appreciated it!”
“The seminar eliminates all the fog and nonsense people get caught up in. It was awesome!” -RT
“Great to see masters and hear their stories. And to have focused instruction like this”

2. Medicine: Targeting the Elderly
Always admired the term Geriatric – brilliant marketing really. As though aging itself were a disease, necessitating the creation of an entire branch of medicine. Just like Pediatrics. Niche marketing. Selling by fear, from time immemorial.
A lot of old people are fine on their own. Especially the ones smart enough to avoid ‘check-ups’ – those visits where doctors are just going to see if they can find ‘anything wrong.’ Translation: any opening to talk them into unnecessary drugs or surgery. Desperate MDs – the latest Obamacare victims – will only get paid if they find something. Hmm, let’s see here.
Had an 82 year old patient who just went in for one of these MD visits. No health problems, strong as a horse. Even though all blood tests were normal, he came back with a recommendation for thyroxin. Long term prescription: permanent. Reason: it might help him with his memory.
Well, he’s definitely going to remember that – and never go back!
Had another patient – an 87 year old woman. She had a mild heart attack, but was improving with rest. Even though her blood pressure was fairly normal and she was in no distress, the Desperados recommended quadruple bypass for her! Very high chances she would have died from the surgery itself, or its aftermath. But that’s today’s standard protocol.
Remind you of any similar stories in your practice? Email them to me. But I think you see where this is going.
These days people over 50 have an immune advantage right out of the gate – as children, they had less than one tenth of the childhood vaccines today’s kids get. Since the first few years of life are the most critical in immune development, all other factors being equal, they had more of a chance to build the foundation of health early on that could last a lifetime.
Unfortunately other factors have not been equal. As global population doubled in the last 50 years, toxicity has increased geometrically, from all avenues:
Chemicals in the air
Xenobiotics in the water
All these influences have served to bring the elderly population down to the same low level of health as young people exhibit.
In and of itself, aging is not a pathology. With exercise, adjustments, and a nutrient rich lifestyle, musculoskeletal and immune strength can continue to build, one’s entire life. Even into the 50s and 60s and beyond. Apoptosis doesn’t have to come into the picture till the final scenes. But again, it’s the survival of the correctly informed. Many oldsters believe the disempowering sales rap that they are now declining and all these aches and pains are normal and they only way out is drugs, etc. And make sure your will is up to date – that whole Death Care template. That’s the medical agenda.
The newest techniques are the pre’s: precancerous, pre-diabetic, premenopause, pre-arthritic, etc. Capitalizing now on fear of something which may never come.
Ever hear doctors talk about glowing health and vitality, optimum nutrition, collagen, avoiding surgery, fitness, etc – any of those salubrious notions that can enrich people of any age? Nope. It’s always the opposite – the same tired spiel – we may have found a problem here, schedule tests, then more tests, then drugs , then diagnoses, then procedures, more drugs, check-ups, then hospice care— you’re on the track, jack. The patient is never fine, never healthy. Some demon is always lurking about. It’s so boring, so predictable, so obvious. Can’t believe that more people don’t recognize it for what it is: a cheap hustle.
Most have bought into the Permission To Live/ Permission To Die paradigm. They never learn the basics of how the body operates. They never learn the basics of nutrition vs. processed junk. Or anything about drugs and vaccines. Or the difference between exercise and entropy: muscle and bone strength. Knowing nothing on their own, they’re apt to believe the profession that scares them the most – the one granting them Permission to Live — “ take these drugs or else” and Permission To Die, “you have 6 months to live”…. “sorry, it’s terminal, nothing more we can do”
The Correctly Informed healthy minority educates themselves, trusts their own ability to make health decisions, and avoids routine checkups. And drugs. To them, chapters like
The Last Resort make perfect sense. They’ll live as long as they decide, not at the whim of some desperate fee-for-service obamanized profession of pills, potions, and procedures.
3. The Gluten Myth
This is getting out of control – hysterical, unreferenced disinformation about gluten. Another market driven by mythology, joining the ranks of dairy, fish oils, carbohydrates, vaccines – buzzwords directed by systematic error.
Demonizing gluten has spawned a whole new industry, evident in entire aisles of gluten-free products in today’s supermarkets everywhere. It’s big. It’s part of the Alternative Lite program – the militantly uninformed who read a couple things off google and then act like they just discovered the Holy Grail of nutrition, and the cure for all disease. Which they will now condescendingly share with the rest of us.
Most of us know that gluten is the proteinaceous part of the wheat kernel. In itself it is not toxic or allergenic, but a necessary component of an integral whole food, which in many civilizations has been part of optimum human nutrition for the past 100,000 years.
The main deceit in the new anti-gluten frenzy is that if a food contains gluten free grains, or else no grains whatsoever, it is automatically a nutritious valuable whole food. Nothing could be farther from the truth.
It’s about reading labels. Stroll down the gluten free aisle when you’re not in a hurry and just start randomly pulling items off the shelf. Read the ingredients. All of them. The majority of gluten free products contain allergens, chemicals, and neurotoxins including HFCS, hydrogenated oils, refined sugar, to name a few.
These are the same culprits that contaminate the principal American processed food diet, and define it as non-nutritive and toxic. Who are the largest contributors to the gluten free aisles? The big names we all know—the global purveyors of processed and packaged enzymeless nutrient deficient foods. For them, Gluten free was just another niche buzzword marketing device that needed to be covered. And they have done a masterful job, not just in the US, but globally.
We talk about Jeffrey Smith’s pioneering work on GMOS in the Nutrition seminars, both live and online. Just saw him lecture last week at CalJam. His new work cited proof how changing to a non GMO diet ended gluten sensitivity. Why might that be? Because there’s no such thing as gluten sensitivity. What they were sensitive to were GMOs and the above processed ingredients, seen in virtually all gluten free foods. Cut them out, the patient improves.
When people say they got better after eliminating gluten from the diet, they did. But gluten wasn’t why. It was eliminating all the above additives in the processed foods, foods that also contained wheat.
Whole grains, including wheat, have been important sources of B and C vitamins, as well as protein and complex CHOs, for most cultures from time immemorial. No need to change that because of some social-media-driven trendy pop myths.
Time to re-visit Weston Price.
Everybody’s not going to get this. Fine. The survival of the Correctly Informed.
4. Cancer Stories
This website has been involved in the research surrounding natural approaches to cancer for the past 20 years. That work can be accessed through the chapter To The Cancer Patient.
Thousands of people are finding out the truth – that for the vast majority of organic cancers, standard protocols of treatment have an abysmal success rate. In most cases, doing nothing at all prolongs life expectancy beyond their predictions. And not infrequently, immune enhancing programs of holistic approaches result in actual cures.
Some of these stories can be viewed in the Feedback and Testimonial section of the site. Seems like the ones who survive have some common characteristics:
– commit completely to the holistic model
– no more mainstream remedies
– follow a strict regimen, like the 60 Day Program
– have some kind of complete mental or spiritual shift
Even if all these are observed, statistically there’s no guarantee. Look at the world we live in – the GMO foods, processed foods, vaccines, drugs, chemicals, etc. It’s a surprise that more people don’t get it. Cancer has recently become the #2 cause of death in children. Who talks about it? Among adults, the rates of cancer deaths are slightly worse than they were 35 years ago, no matter what the news says. But the cancer industry is now in excess of $100 billion annually.
A good friend was diagnosed with pancreatic, metastasized to the lungs. Oncologists gave her 2 months life expectancy, and that’s with guaranteed unremitting agony from chemo. She went the holistic route, which was not successful, but at least had many times that much life and still maintained her dignity as a human being.
What is cancer? An undifferentiated cell that begins to replicate. And then is unchecked. Metaplasia. Look at the chapter for that little review. Not DNA destruction, but DNA altering – practically the definition of GMO. 80% of supermarket foods have at least some GM component these days. We become what we eat. DNA alterations. And the systems that would monitor and isolate these mutations are controlled by what? Right – the nervous system. Chiropractic have any influence on that?
The immune system involves things like
Blood forming organs
Elimination of endogenous cell wastes
Elimination of exogenous environmental poisons
Maintenance of gut flora
What controls those operations? Right again: the NS. Can chiropractic have any influence on normalizing that?
A decade ago I used to believe that cancer comes to those who deserve it, those who choose it by their lifestyle and unresolved inner conflict. We still see evidence of those types of cases. But today, in such a worsening toxic global environment, with exponentially more drugs and vaccines being disseminated, and greater control of food processing, it seems evident that the number of “spontaneous” cases of cancer is sky rocketing – people who aren’t overweight, taking drugs, or in the high risk categories. People who don’t deserve it at all. Today’s world is much more dangerous, where getting cancer seems much more a matter of roulette probabilities.
So staying adjusted, eating right, avoiding drugs, exercising – all this can’t guarantee that the cancer won’t pay a visit to one’s door. But the opposite will increase your chances, just looking at it from a perspective of cell physiology.
Forget the statistics – they’re cooked. $12 billion in lobbying keeps the whole show rolling along like everything’s fine. Listen to us, we alone grant permission to live and permission to die… Now it’s so lucky you came in today – we just got this new experimental chemo that is looking very promising…
Ok, OK OK just a little pinprick…
BEST OF ALL POSSIBLE WORLDS / WORST OF ALL POSSIBLE WORLDS
The premise here for this monthly feature, remember, is that at the present time we are living simultaneously in both the best of all possible worlds and the worst of all possible worlds. Since this short span will be our only experience with consciousness during the life of this third stone from the sun, we should take notice that heaven and hell are very real. At least before death. They’re both right in front of us.
Many of our best people feel that in these times the world has passed some point of no return in its decline and dissolution, and wish no more children to be brought into it. While there is more than enough evidence to justify these misgivings –
– irrevocable trends in environmental devastation
– depletion of resources
– global advance of government domination over the individual
– inexorable decline in intelligence
– epidemic loss of moral ethic
– suffocating power of corporate media
Still the human spirit will not be be extinguished. Beauty, goodness, health, love, respect for the planet, inspiration, higher values – these will endure, despite the overwhelming success of systematic efforts to market their counterfeit versions.
Hard to top last month’s Tesla section for Best of All Worlds. But here goes. National parks. State parks. Get away from the snack bar and there’s nobody there. Most are afraid to venture out of Facebook range, right? But when we leave all electronics behind and just hike out so that there’s nothing we can see or hear that would look different from 200 years ago, we escape to the environment that our regulatory systems so desperately crave. No other way to reset, surrounded by all this EMF day in and day out.
Top of Heavenley, top of Mammoth, top of Half Dome, John Muir Trail, Joshua Tree, Henry Cowell, The Black Hills, The Everglades, HaLong Bay, Koh Phangan, Bryce Canyon, out in your local woods. Or desert. Or ocean. Or river. Tapping into the deep abiding presence of life. Still looks like creation (plus a few billion years). Just so that you can see or hear no evidence of anything more recent than 200 years ago.
15 minutes won’t work. Have to stay longer. A year is good. Three hours – not as good. Away from humans, and their contraptions and all of their pomps and works. Animals optional.
Re-ground, reboot, regenerate. Rejoice.

The most reliable vaccine resource for parents about to make the most important decision of the child’s life.
“The most provocative, well-researched, blood-boiling text EVER written on vaccines.. Dr Tim’s style mixing pure science and his relentless wit make this one of my FAVORITE reads of all time. . read this book and you will want to start a revolution.” – Dr Bill DeMoss, Newport Beach
“This history of the vaccination industry is vastly more thorough than that taught in medical schools and decisively more balanced.” – David Ayoub, MD
“The only book more important than this one is the Bible.” – Dr Tim Young
“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie — deliberate, contrived and dishonest, but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic. Belief in myths allows the comfort of opinion without the discomfort of thought.”
